The use of Virtual and Augmented Reality in Game-Based Learning

Abstract
The potential of immersive technology in educational settings is examined in "The use of virtual and augmented reality in game-based learning". The concept starts out by going over the drawbacks of conventional teaching techniques and then emphasizes the advantages of gamification and interactive learning. After that, it explores the ideas behind virtual and augmented reality and how game-based learning may make use of them. The paper goes over a number of instances when these technologies have been used in classrooms and how they have improved learning results and student engagement. The necessity of continuous research and development in this area is emphasized in the abstract's conclusion in order to fully achieve the promise of augmented and virtual reality in game-based learning.
