Abstract
The hospitality industry can benefit greatly from revolutionary technologies of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), which have the potential to improve numerous other sectors. In an effort to give a general overview of the benefits and uses of VR and AR, this brief investigates how they might be used to enhance hotel facilities and services. While making a schedule, customers can explore hotel rooms, amenities, and locations by immersing themselves in realistic virtual worlds through virtual reality. By using virtual reality (VR), hotels may provide guests with virtual tours that highlight their features, varieties of rooms, and extra services. This will increase consumer engagement and lower booking Uncertainty. AR, on the alternative hand, enhances visitors' physical experiences by superimposing digital information over the actual surroundings. Hotels can use augmented reality (AR) to offer interactive maps that will help visitors navigate new areas and get a visit of the hotel. Moreover, AR can be used to provide customized information, like restaurant selections, special offers, and nearby points of interest, improving the overall visitor experience and raising client satisfaction. Additionally, hotels can use VR and AR to develop original and interesting forms of entertainment. Interactive augmented reality displays, virtual reality game zones, and immersive storytelling experiences may capture visitors and offer them unique and unforgettable experiences while they are there. However, the integration of VR and AR technology into hotel services and facilities needs to be done with caution. To guarantee smooth integration and the best results, issues with cost, technological infrastructure, user experience, and content creation must be resolved. Furthermore, it's important to properly handle the security and privacy issues related to gathering and using visitor data in VR and AR environments. In conclusion, by offering immersive experiences, boosting visitor engagement, and raising general customer happiness, VR and AR have the potential to completely transform hotel facilities and services. By utilizing these technologies, hotels may stand apart from an overcrowded sector, draw in tech-savvy visitors, and produce unique experiences that promote loyalty.
